**Pay based upon experience**

• Sets up stitcher via console. Feed covers, signatures and sheets into various pockets for collating, stitching and trimming. Perform routine maintenance.

• Sets up folders via console with flat sheets for complex folding, slitting and perfing in line. Must be knowledgeable of folding configuration so that stitcher lips are accurate and other bindery finishing processes are accurate. (perfect binding, wire-o, etc.) Perform routine maintenance.

• Programs cutter for job specifications. Changes blades and cutter sticks. Performs routine maintenance.

• Removes, stacks, and packs printed material in various stages of completion on pallets as it accumulates on delivery table of machines.

• Examines stitched, collated, bound, and unbound publications to ascertain that pages are bound in numerical or folio order according to sample copy, and for such defects as imperfect bindings, ink spots, torn, loose, and uneven pages, and loose and uncut threads.

• Wraps product in plastic, using shrink-wrapping machine, packs products in boxes, and tapes lids of boxes shut.

• Records daily production into PSI.

• Cleans work area around machine.
