ITP Upgrades Equipment and In-House Capabilities for Large Format Printing

ITP upgrades Roland SOLJET Pro Large Format Printer/Cutter and Canon Large Format Printer

In order to better serve the increasing demands of clients’ needs, ITP recently completed installation and training on three new pieces of equipment in their large format printing division.

ITP purchased the Roland SOLJET Pro 4 R-640 64″ Printer/Cutter with 8-color “Eco Solvent” inks, in-line die-cutting capabilities and a 64″ print-width capacity. “We’re excited about these additional equipment upgrades to handle increasing demand from our clients,” explains George Kaufman, ITP’s Large Format Specialist.

While the Roland Printer features a 64″ width capacity, he reminds clients that “most materials that run on the Roland are available in 54″ rolls only, but a limited number of materials are available in the 64″ width. We’re very confident in providing all media and substrates within the 54″ width on these printers, but will always make every effort to locate greater width capacity rolls on specific materials at the client’s request,” says Kaufman.

In addition to the Roland, ITP also installed a new Canon iPF 8400s Large Format, High- Speed, 8-Color Ink-Jet Printer with a 44″ Paper Roll Capacity and a Seal Image 400 38″ Roll Laminator with Gloss, Matte, and Dry Erase finishing options as part of the upgrades.

Kaufman stated that ITP is, “now better equipped to handle more volume from niche markets,” including healthcare providers, manufacturing, colleges and universities, non-profit organizations, industry-based associations, trade show exhibitors and various retail segments.

“Overall, these recent equipment purchases help expand our in-house capabilities for customers from a quality, speed and cost-efficiency standpoint,” says Pat McCauley, ITP’s Chief Operating Officer. “They also benefit our client base that relies on ITP as a comprehensive print and marketing services partner.”

“Within the last four months, we have a made upgrades in every area and can confidently provide comprehensive digital and offset printing, graphic and web design, mailing and fulfillment, marketing strategies and online storefront capabilities,” McCauley explains.

As a trusted partner for our clients, ITP’s core capabilities in large format include indoor and outdoor signage, banners, trade show displays, posters, point-of-purchase displays, window graphics, stickers, wallpaper displays, adhesive clings and more. Services include printing, mounting, framing and laminating on various boards and substrates including paper, vinyl, PVC, foamcore, gatorboard, adhesive, permanent stickers and more.
