ITP Expands Large Format Printing Capabilities

ITP expands Large Format Print Department with Fuji Flatbed Printer and Kongsberg X Cutting Table

In order to better serve the increasing demands of clients’ needs, ITP recently completed installation and training on two new pieces of equipment in their large format printing division.

ITP purchased the Fuji Acuity Select 20 Series UV Flatbed Inkjet Printer which is the industry leader in image quality, performance, and versatility. The Kongsberg X Series, CAD-controlled cutting table equipment takes over where the Acuity Select left off.  The Kongsberg mills and cuts signage, displays and packaging producing 2D and 3D displays.  Both pieces of equipment offer the versatility of working with many media types such as PVC, polycarbonate, styrene, acrylic, paper, board, wood, aluminum composite and many other materials including printing to transparent media for backlit images and signs.

We’re excited about this new equipment which will expand our print capabilities and what we can offer our clients,” explains John Downs, ITP’s Large Format Manager.   The Acuity Select Flatbed Printer is versatile with extended color options including white and clear ink options.  “We’re very excited to be offering customers limitless options to bring their design concepts to life with “on-off” prototype runs and variable data and custom-contoured signage and product packaging,” says Downs.

Downs stated that ITP is, “now better equipped to handle more creative projects from all markets,” including retail and product development companies, manufacturing, colleges and universities, non-profit organizations and industry-based associations.
