ITP Collects Items to Support Army Team in Kuwait
Four full cartons of personal care items and snacks were recently shipped to the Army Signal Command Unit in Kuwait thanks to the generosity of ITP employees.
Faythe Boozer, ITP’s Shipping Coordinator and a veteran of the US Navy and military wife of 12 years, began collecting items in July in recognition of the 4th of July holiday. ITP employees donated items that were included in the “most desired list” which included instant coffee, individual water flavor packets, protein and granola bars and personal care items such as deodorant, toothpaste, floss and lip balm.
The boxes included a thank you card signed by ITP employees thanking them for their service.
It was truly a community effort,” said Faythe Boozer. “ITP employees were so generous with donations or cash donations so that I could purchase the items this Army Unit is in need of.” Additionally, Henry Smeltzer from Henry’s Painting in Elizabethtown donated funds to cover the overseas shipping costs.
“ITP is proud to support those who serve and protect the USA and our freedom. We hope to coordinate another project like this again in the near future,” said Patrick McCauley, Chief Operating Officer.
